Crew Directory
- Access qualified crew via the Member Directory
- Search by name, department, or state of residence
- Download PDF rosters
Good Standing Verification
- Submit all intended hires to the Business Agents
- Hiring must not proceed until verification is complete
Residency (Local, Nearby & Distant Hires)
- Crew may not work as “local” unless they are permanent residents living within 60 miles of the filming location
- Misclassification may result in corrective action and additional back-pay
- Confirming residency is the responsibility of the employer, but we are available to help if we can
Work Permits
- Required for all covered out-of-jurisdiction crew not traveled from Los Angeles
- Must be filled out by the crew member
- Must be approved before travel
Work Assessments
- Include this form in electronic crew start work packets, and confirm it was received by the payroll company
- Required for all Local 488 crew (including any non-union crew working in covered positions)
- Required for all covered out-of-jurisdiction crew not traveled from Los Angeles
- Must be filled out by the crew member
- Must be completed before starting work
